Will Morgan, the owner and operator of Vagabond Coffee Co., has announced that Friday, December 30 will be the coffee caravan’s last day in Hemming Park.
“We’re sad to leave the park, but we know it’s time. The Vagabond Coffee Caravan came here in December 2014, and we’re ready to hit the road with the camper again,” Will said. “Our stay in Hemming Park helped build Vagabond into what we are today. We now have a permanent location in Murray Hill and have begun roasting our own coffee.”
“The Vagabond Coffee Caravan played a major role in helping us activate the park early on. We appreciate Will’s support of our vision for Hemming Park and his partnership over the past two years. We’ve enjoyed watching his company, team and family grow, and wish him luck in this new endeavor,” said Sarah Collins, Marketing Director at Friends of Hemming Park.
Vagabond’s focus on coffee and community were great fits in the park, and the small business continues to pursue that through Vagabond Flea and other events in Jacksonville.
“We’ve had some offers to bring the camper to conferences and events in the past, but our commitment was to Hemming Park. We want to pursue those options in Downtown, throughout Jacksonville, and beyond. And we’re open to more ideas on places to bring our camper. If you have an idea, let us know,” said Will.
Visit the Vagabond Coffee Caravan for its last day in Hemming Park on Friday, December 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be music by Murphy Griffin and lunch by Eddis & Sons from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
