Hemming Park is Jacksonville’s oldest public park, located in the center of downtown just minutes from the St. Johns River and surrounded by City Hall, the Jacksonville Public Library and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
With three stages, a shaded kids zone and multiple event areas, the park is perfect for everything from small community gatherings and private events, to large-scale concerts and festivals designed to accommodate thousands.
Hemming Park is committed to serving the public and revitalizing downtown Jacksonville by providing a fun, safe space and cultural enrichment for all. Friends of Hemming Park carefully considers each event application to ensure it supports this commitment. We reserve the right to deny any event that does not.
To hold an event in Hemming Park you must first submit an event application outlining the details of your event. For larger events, we ask that you submit your application three to six months prior to your requested date. Smaller events may be considered with one to two months notice.

Complete applications will be reviewed as soon as possible and someone from our team will respond to your request, usually within one week. Estimated rental fees cannot be given until a complete application has been submitted and reviewed.
