Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville Acting as collaborators, grant-makers and advocates for the arts and culture sector, The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville exists to champion the appreciation, relevance, and expression of art and culture in northeast Florida. Hemming Park exists within the boundaries of The Cultural Councils SPARK district, with the goal of creating a vibrant arts and culture corridor in Downtown Jacksonville.
City of Jacksonville, FL, a modern, urban city built upon the banks of the mighty St. Johns River and bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, is a rapidly growing metropolis in Northeast Florida, with more than 850,000 residents. Downtown Vision, Inc. (DVI) is the Downtown Improvement District (DID) for Downtown Jacksonville. The 501(c)6 nonprofit works to build and maintain downtown as a destination for doers. It also promotes a healthy and vibrant urban core. In addition to creating a safe and visually attractive downtown, they are also responsible for hosting Art Walk, a monthly event that sets records for bringing people downtown.
Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce (JAX Chamber) The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce (JAX Chamber) is a business membership organization dedicated to driving Northeast Florida economic growth. Jacksonville Public Library is a large library system, consisting of a 300,000 sq. ft. Main Library and twenty regional, community and neighborhood branch libraries. We also serve the needs of the community with Talking Books Library for Disabled Customers and an active adult literacy program.
JAX2025 is about action and change. Facilitated by the Jacksonville Community Council Inc. (JCCI), JAX2025 is a privately-funded, community-directed initiative to create and implement a shared vision for the future.
JAXUSA A private, nonprofit division of the JAX Chamber, JAXUSA is a regional marketing, prospecting, and international trade partnership focused on Northeast Florida economic development. JAXUSA offers a variety of services for businesses that are considering relocation or expansion in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA Jax) promotes the discovery, knowledge, and advancement of the art, artists, and ideas of our time. MOCA Jacksonville, a private nonprofit visual arts educational institution and cultural institute of the University of North Florida, serves the community and its visitors through exhibitions, collections, educational programs, and publications designed to enhance an understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary art with particular emphasis on works created from 1960 to the present.
Sulzbacher Center Northeast Floridas largest provider of comprehensive services for homeless men, women and children. They are one of only a few centers in the nation to offer a full range of services for the homeless 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Hemming Park values its relationship with The Sulzbacher Center as it is a resource for helping local residents who need resources to get back onto their feet and live vibrant, productive lives.
