Viva Jax Latino Cultural Festival, 5 – 10 p.m.
Viva Jax Entertainment, LLC & Univision 18 invite you to join them in celebrating the diversity and unique history of our country’s Hispanic American culture through music, dance, food and art in Hemming Park. This family-friendly event includes art and craft vendors, local Latino performers and more in a fun, colorful setting.

Art Fusion with MOCA Jacksonville, 12 – 3 p.m.
Kids are invited to join one of MOCA Jacksonville’s professional art educators in Hemming Park for a hands-on art activity inspired by the works in the Museum. After, kids can enjoy free admission to the museum.
WED, OCTOBER 5
First Wednesday Art Walk, 5 – 10 p.m.
Join Downtown Vision, Inc. for their 4th Annual Oktoberfest and the year’s biggest Art Walk featuring a polka band, contests, carnival games, and German beer. Plus, local artists, food vendors, a kids zone and 60+ participating venues throughout Downtown. This event is free, open to the public, and pet & kid-friendly!

Nonprofit Business Expo, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
All I Know, Inc. invites you to Hemming Park every first Friday of the month to meet and mingle with local nonprofit organizations to learn about their services and how you can get involved.

4th Annual Friday Night Live! Music Festival – Grand Finale, 7 – 10 p.m.
This 5-Friday music festival unites all ages and cultures through music, arts and community in Downtown Jacksonville. The Grand Finale event will feature a final music competition between each week’s winner, a live art display, silent auction, food & drinks, a Kids Zone, lawn games and more.

11th Annual Teen Battle of the Bands, 12 – 4 p.m.
The Jacksonville Public Library invites you to the 11th Annual Teen Battle of the Bands! Bands with two or more members, all between the ages of 12 – 18, will compete in Hemming Park to win a cash prize, George’s Music gift card, studio time and a paid performance at Porchfest 2016.
