WED, NOVEMBER 2
First Wednesday Art Walk, 5 – 9 p.m. 

Join Downtown Vision Inc. for this month’s “Salute to Service” Art Walk! Visit Hemming Park to enjoy live music by the Navy Band, watch the Westside High School JROTC Color Guard, and learn more about the upcoming Navy vs. Notre Dame game. All active and retired military will receive discounts at select artist tents and all beverage tents. This event also includes dozens of local artists, local food vendors, a kids zone and 60+ participating venues throughout Downtown. Details at iloveartwalk.com.

FRI, NOVEMBER 4
Nonprofit Business Expo, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
All I Know, Inc. invites you to Hemming Park every first Friday of the month to meet and mingle with local nonprofit organizations to learn about their services and how you can get involved.  

SUN, NOVEMBER 6
Art Fusion with MOCA Jacksonville, 12 – 3 p.m. 

Kids are invited to join one of MOCA Jacksonville’s professional art educators in Hemming Park for a hands-on art activity inspired by the works in the Museum. After, participating kids can enjoy free admission to the museum. For this month’s project, inspired by Ilya Bolotowsky’s “Winter Diamond,” kids will create artwork using only primary colors. The first weekend of the month is also “Museums on Us” which means Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders get in free!

SAT, NOVEMBER 12
Jax Kid’s Mural Festival Grand Finale, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Don’t miss the fourth and final Jax Kid’s Mural Festival! This 2016 SPARK Grant Project funded by The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville and Florida Blue includes several large “coloring book” mural walls for kids to paint, water activities, a free skateboarding clinic by Instaramp, t-shirt tye dying, local food trucks and vendors, live painting, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, music by The Band Be Easy and more!

SAT, NOVEMBER 12
Art (Re)Public: Painting in the Park, 5 – 9 p.m.
After touring the new Art (Re)Public murals in Downtown Jacksonville, stop by Hemming Park to see local artists painting free-standing mural walls in Hemming Park. Enjoy music, food trucks, drinks and more. Details at artrepublicjax.org.

THU, NOVEMBER 17
Jaxsons Night Market, 5:30 – 9 p.m.
Every third Thursday of the month enjoy a downtown night market of local food trucks, artisan food vendors, local craftsman, small business entrepreneurs, fashion vendors, a Kids Zone, live music, local brews, live maker space demos and more! Details at hemmingpark.org/jaxsons.

11th Annual Teen Battle of the Bands, 12 – 2 p.m.
The Jacksonville Public Library invites you to the 11th Annual Teen Battle of the Bands! Bands with two or more members, all between the ages of 12 – 18, will compete in Hemming Park to win a cash prize, studio time and more. Enjoy live music and food trucks.
