Friends of Hemming Park is proud to host the following programs and events in Hemming Park located at 135 W. Monroe Street in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. All activities listed below are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.

Art Walk returns to Downtown Jacksonville for ImagiNATURE with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra in Hemming Park, hundreds of local artists, a food truck village, street performances, Front Porch at The Jacksonville Landing and more throughout 15+ blocks of Downtown Jacksonville.

World Arts Film Festival
On May 3, 4, and 5th, the 4th Annual World Arts Film Festival invites first-time and established filmmakers to showcase their talents with short film screenings, panels, workshops, and exhibits at the WJCT PBS Television Studios. A special trailer and film will be shown inside the Friends of Hemming Park office during the 3-day festival.
ART FUSION WITH MOCA JACKSONVILLE, 5 – 9 p.m.
Kids are invited to join MOCA Jacksonville in Hemming Park for a hands-on art activity inspired by the works in the museum led by a professional art educator. After, participating kids can enjoy free admission to the museum!

The fun continues with MOCA Jacksonville as they celebrate the end of the school year with a free day of art-making, interactive fun, and other surprises!

DCPS READING EXTRAVAGANZA, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Hosted by Duval County Public Schools, the 15th Annual Reading Extravaganza (formerly P.E.P. Rally) will celebrate literacy, recognize students for reading achievements and feature fun-filled activities, local celebrities reading children’s books, student performances and a student-run food truck.

JACKSONVILLE JAZZ FESTIVAL
Each Memorial Day weekend, local enthusiasts and aficionados from around the world unite at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival to celebrate the music, art, and culture of America!
