The nonprofit organization Friends of Hemming Park will host the following programs and events in Hemming Park located at 135 W. Monroe Street in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. The programs and events listed below are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.

NONPROFIT BUSINESS EXPO
All I Know, Inc. invites you to Hemming Park every first Friday of the month to meet and mingle with local nonprofit organizations to learn more about the services they provide and how you can get involved.

SUN, JULY 3                                             12 – 3 P.M.
ART FUSION WITH MOCA JACKSONVILLE
Kids are invited to participate in a hands-on art activity led by MOCA Jacksonville outside in Hemming Park! This month kids will use colored fiber fill to create “fuzzy” works of art inspired by artist Keltie Ferris. Kids can then enjoy free admission to the museum by showing their artwork.

WED, JULY 6                                            5 – 9 P.M.
FIRST WEDNESDAY ART WALK
Put on your best red, white and blue and join us to celebrate at July’s Art Walk! Enjoy live music by The Band Be Easy in Hemming Park, artwork by local vendors, delectable eats in the Regions Bank Food Truck lot and over 59+ participating venues in Downtown Jacksonville. POWER OF MYTH WORKSHOP #4

YOUTH BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Join Krumpin 4 Success Inc. as they challenge students to become youth entrepreneurs. Teams will be given a product to market and sell in Hemming Park. The winning team will receive proceeds toward their own businesses. Support young entrepreneurs as they learn valuable skills in professionalism and customer relations.

Every third Thursday of the month grab your friends and family to enjoy a downtown night market of local artisan food vendors, entrepreneurs, food trucks, fashion trucks, a Kids Zone, live music and local brews.

THE GREAT FOODINI: MAGIC & FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL
Local magicians have joined together to organize a magical, food truck festival in Hemming Park! Enjoy live magic shows, local food trucks, brews from Magic Hat, experiments with MOSH Jacksonville and more.

Community First Credit Union and Jacksonville Moms Blog invite you to bring the kids and meet other moms in Hemming Park as you enjoy getting creative with tie-dyed shirts and other fun activities from downtown institutions, plus vendors, cool treats and more.

SAT, JULY 30                         10 A.M. – 2 P.M.
JSO ZONE 1 SAFETY FAIR
Join the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to learn more about how to prevent robbery, auto theft, economic crimes and more. Kids are invited to meet local K9 units and tour fire trucks. Local organizations will be on hand to provide free health screenings, giveaways and other safety information.
