Philadelphia-based Timothy Showalter a.k.a Strand of Oaks has become celebrated for his unique sound and intensely personal lyrics, which have earned praise from SPIN Magazine, Pitchfork and NPR.

With his band Strand of Oaks, Philly-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Tim Showalter released a knockout rock n roll record called HEALthis is Strand of Oaks most personal record, and it resonates with amplified power, soaring guitar solos and a confessional approach to songwriting. NPR, Public Radios 10 Breakout Artists of 2014

On Christmas Day in 2013, Showalter was driving back to Philadelphia from Indiana when he hit a patch of ice and crashed into two semi trucks. He suffered a concussion and broke every rib on his right side. The near-death experience gave him a boldness while creating his latest album HEAL just days after the crash.

HEAL has received much acclaim, being named one of the best albums released in 2014. Showalter has toured all over the country in support of this album and has played alongside acts such as Iron and Wine, Ryan Adams, and My Morning Jacket. HEAL is Showalters fourth career album, and first released on Dead Oceans.

This free concert event will include food trucks, refreshments, merchandise sales and a meet and greet with the band for up to 10 people.
