First Classic Car Cruise-In Comes to Hemming Park
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., August 24, 2017 – Friends of Hemming Park and Sunshine State Chevelles join forces to bring the first Classic Car Cruise-In to Hemming Park in Downtown Jacksonville on Friday, September 22 from 5 – 8 p.m.
Hundreds of classic car enthusiasts are expected to roam Hemming Park in September for the first classic car cruise-in. Individuals from the greater Jacksonville, Florida region are encouraged to show off their autos, wheels, bling, and chrome for an evening of family-friend fun and entertainment. Cruisers may purchase eats and treats from Dagwood’s Food Truck, Mother Truckin’ Pizza and tasty Guanabana Ice Pops while DJ Chris spins Rock & Roll classics from 50’s through the 80’s. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public. On-street parking is free after 6 p.m. in Downtown Jacksonville, or you can use the public lot on Duval St. between Laura & Ashley.
